Cold foam

What is cold foam in coffee?

Cold foam is milk frothed while it is still cold, then spooned on top of an iced coffee or cold brew. Because it is never heated, it stays thick and floats on cold drinks. Skimmed milk foams best; a handheld frother or a French press plunger pumped quickly will make it in under a minute.

Try it on cold brew. A pinch of sugar or a splash of syrup before frothing makes a sweeter foam.
